Except in an emergency, the child’s first visit to the dentist is generally 6 months after the appearance of the first tooth and imperatively before the age of 2.
What are the objectives of this first inspection visit?
– Establish a bond of trust with the child in order to reassure him and make this moment pleasant.
– Observe the proper development of your child’s teeth
– Give you the advice you need for good oral health
– Guide you in the appropriate brushing techniques
– Educate yourself on fluoride and appropriate doses
