Toothpaste
Toothpaste is a paste that allows you to clean your teeth with a toothbrush. Slightly abrasive and antiseptic, it reduces plaque, protects gums and provides fresh breath. The fluoride used in the composition of the main toothpastes is effective in the fight against cavities. Some toothpastes, thanks to the addition of complementary substances, can also target a specific action on the teeth (tartar, whitening,…) and thus prevent certain diseases, such as gingivitis.

Mouthwash
Preventing cavities, freshening breath, reducing plaque… Mouthwash can be used for several reasons. Note that there are two distinct types of mouthwashes:
– Therapeutic mouthwash: Intended to reduce an infection, heal a wound or protect an area after an operation, therapeutic mouthwash is prescribed by the dental surgeon and used for a limited period of time.
– Maintenance mouthwash: Intended to improve hygiene by cleaning the interdental spaces and therefore to fight against cavities, maintenance mouthwash is generally used on a daily basis, with each brushing and does not require a medical prescription.

Mouthwashes are generally not recommended for children under 7 years of age and pregnant women. Do not hesitate to consult us before using it.
