Il permet de prot\u00e9ger la dent des agressions ext\u00e9rieures. Il peut malgr\u00e9 tout subir des alt\u00e9rations qui vont faciliter la propagation des bact\u00e9ries et des caries sur la dent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sous l\u2019\u00e9mail, se trouve la dentine, une trame moins min\u00e9ralis\u00e9e. La pulpe, partie centrale de la dent, contient nerfs et vaisseaux sanguins, permettant ainsi d\u2019irriguer la dent.
